Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This policy explains what information Dexapp Wallet may process, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit www.dexappwallet.com, contact us, or use the Dexapp Wallet mobile application and related services. It does not apply to independent blockchain networks, decentralized applications, exchanges, app stores, or other third-party services that have their own privacy practices.

2. Private keys and recovery phrases

Dexapp Wallet is designed to be non-custodial. We do not collect, receive, transmit, or store your private keys or recovery phrase on our servers, and we do not have access to them. We cannot use those credentials to access your wallet or recover them for you.

Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone. Dexapp Wallet will not ask you to provide either through a website form, email, social media, or support message.

3. Information you provide

If you contact us, we may receive your email address, the content of your message, and any information you choose to include. Do not include private keys, recovery phrases, passwords, or other wallet credentials. If future features ask for additional information, we will explain what is required and why at the point of collection.

4. Wallet and blockchain information

To display balances, transaction history, or other wallet features, the software may process public wallet addresses and publicly available blockchain data, such as transaction identifiers, token balances, timestamps, and network activity. Blockchain records are public, are maintained by decentralized networks rather than Dexapp Wallet, and generally cannot be changed or deleted by us.

5. Technical information

When you access the website or app, we or providers acting for us may process limited technical data needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. Depending on the version and settings you use, this may include device model, operating-system and app version, language, timestamps, IP address, requested pages, feature interactions, performance information, and session events.

Crash reports and diagnostics may include error messages, stack traces, app state, and device or operating-system details. Analytics, crash reporting, and diagnostics are used to understand app performance, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and improve features. They are not intended to contain private keys or recovery phrases. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

6. WalletConnect and connected applications

If you use WalletConnect or connect Dexapp Wallet to a decentralized application, the wallet may process and share the information needed to establish and maintain that connection. This can include your selected public wallet address, network or chain identifiers, the connected application’s name, domain and icon, session identifiers, permissions, connection timestamps, and transaction or signature requests you choose to review. Connected applications and WalletConnect infrastructure are third parties with their own privacy practices. Disconnecting a session stops future connection activity but does not delete information already processed by the connected service or recorded on a blockchain.

7. Biometrics

If you enable fingerprint, face, or other biometric unlock, authentication is performed by your device’s operating system. Dexapp Wallet receives only the result needed to allow or deny local access; we do not receive, collect, or store your fingerprint, facial template, or other raw biometric data. You can manage biometric access through the app and device settings.

8. Cookies and local storage

The current public website does not use account, advertising, or behavioral-tracking cookies. The wallet software may use device storage for settings and functionality. Hosting or security providers may use strictly necessary technologies to deliver or protect the website. If we introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide applicable choices.

9. How information is used

  • Provide, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the website and wallet services.
  • Respond to questions, feedback, and support requests.
  • Retrieve and present requested public blockchain information.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, technical failures, or security threats.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

10. When information is shared

We may share limited information with providers that help us host, secure, analyze, diagnose, maintain, or support the services; with blockchain infrastructure and WalletConnect providers when needed to perform an action you request; with a connected application when you approve a connection; when required by applicable law or valid legal process; or as part of a business reorganization subject to appropriate protections. Providers may use information only for the services they supply to us. We do not share private keys, recovery phrases, or raw biometric data because we do not collect them.

11. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including support, security, legal, and recordkeeping needs. Retention periods depend on the type of information and applicable requirements. Public blockchain information remains on its respective network and is outside our control.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we process. No internet service, device, or software can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, using trusted software sources, reviewing transaction requests, and keeping your wallet credentials private.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information we control, and to lodge a complaint with a relevant regulator. To submit a request, email info@dexappwallet.com. We may need to verify your request. These rights do not extend to public blockchain records that we do not control.

14. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers. Provider and transfer details will be updated as the production infrastructure is finalized.

15. Children’s privacy

Dexapp Wallet is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to use digital-asset services or consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and address the request.

16. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as the product, providers, and legal requirements evolve. The revised policy will be posted here with a new effective date.

The data-controller legal name and postal address will be added before the wallet’s public release. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@dexappwallet.com.
